Carry-out Crew/Dishwasher - Jackson Rd Location Only
We are looking to hire a few self-driven individuals to work at our Jackson Road facility, starting ASAP! Full or part-time available.
General Description -
This position entails preparing carry-out orders, making waffle cones, checking out customers, receiving deliveries and doing dishes for production, as well as many other tasks that keep the facility running smooth!
Qualifications
Customer service experience
Familiarity with Square or other Point of Sale software
Familiarity with safe food handling procedures
Must be 18 years or older
Must enjoy doing dishes and being busy
Must be available evenings and weekends (open hours 12-7 PM Tu-Sa)
Physical Requirements -
Must be able to be on your feet ~7 hrs/day
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Ice Cream Production - Jackson Rd Location Only
General Description -
Are you looking for full-time work in a growing local business? We are adding to our production kitchen team at our Jackson Road location! This job includes a wide variety of tasks, including making and freezing ice cream, following our recipes to create our homemade inclusions and toppings, as well as preparing sorbets & non-diaries. We prioritize communication and teamwork, and are looking for someone enthusiastic about learning how to make our delicious artisan ice cream and who can handle the occasionally hectic energy of a kitchen.
Ice Cream Production Responsibilities -
Working with a team, producing various ice cream flavors
Assembling ice cream mix ingredients for pasteurization
Preparation of all ice cream inclusions like caramel, fudge, brownies, cookies, basil, mint, etc.
Freezing of ice cream batches
Mastery of equipment including the pasteurizer, batch freezer, steam kettle, mixer, etc.
Cleaning and sterilization of all equipment
Dishwashing
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications -
Ability to follow step-by-step instructions
Familiarity with kitchen equipment
Familiarity with safe food handling procedures
Previous food preparation experience a plus!
Must be 18 years or older
Must be available weekdays
Physical Requirements -
Must be able to be on your feet ~8 hrs/day
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Shift Leader
General Description -
A part-time position performing a wide variety of tasks from setting up the store before opening, ensuring smooth operation while serving customers, and handling proper closing of the store. During open hours, specifically managing 2-6 part-time staff during assigned shifts while also serving customers, taking orders, and managing online orders.
Shift Leader Responsibilities -
Ensuring that someone over the age of 18 is in the store at all times during operating hours
Working the cash register and ensuring cash transactions are accurate and properly recorded
Making sure all online orders are accounted for and prepared
Updating website and online store with availability of products and flavors
Making sure all safety protocols are followed (Covid and otherwise)
Perform duties as person-in-charge during health inspections or emergency situations
Ensuring best possible customer experience and solving any problems or complaints
Solving any staff complaints or questions, or directing staff to the appropriate higher-up
Performing inventory multiple times a week (Brighton)
Ensuring proper food handling and safety guidelines are being followed by all staff
Baking and/or cutting cookies, brownies and blondies
Making any necessary whip cream and cone mix
Helping scoop ice cream if needed
Delegating responsibilities as needed to staff
Individually opening up the shop as scheduled by completing specific tasks
Counting/balancing the cash drawer
Moving ice cream from the basement freezer to an upstairs freezer (only on weekends)
Cataloging online orders
Assigning opening tasks to staff
Closing the shop as scheduled
Counting the cash drawer
Assigning all closing task
Ensuring closing procedures are completed and cleanliness is achieved
LOCKING ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS
Qualifications -
Ability to follow a written recipe
Familiarity with kitchen equipment
Previous food management experience desired
Familiarity with safe food handling procedures
Familiarity with basic computer skills
Good communication skills with people of all ages
Must be 18 years or older
